A Round Shape Chocolate Mold for Baking

One of the most interesting creations I made in the past year is a dome chocolate mold. It was created for my boyfriend's graduation party and boy did we use it! This particular type of "dome" silicone chocolate mold is a small cylinder about the same size as a soda can with a dome shape around the top. They are usually made out of clear silicone to allow you to see the contents through the cover. Most of them are colored in white or at least come in clear versions to go with any color candy that is used during the process.

Usually dome silicone chocolate mold makers come in four different sizes because there are so many different types of dessert desserts that one might want to create. If you are just starting out making "candy-flavored" cookies, pastries and other desserts, I would recommend you start with a smaller round version. It gives you the ability to experiment and see how well your homemade creations hold up without the risk of melting the chocolate. You don't want to mess with melted chocolate when you are trying to create something so smooth and delicious!

For my boyfriend's graduation party, we decided to make him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich cookie (something that everyone likes), which was easy to do with our dome shaped silicone baker depot cake pastry mold. We simply applied a nice layer of our favorite jam to the bottom and then stuck our cookies in the center of the "sandwich" to make it look like he was riding on a bicycle. Next, we dipped two strips of our favorite white chocolate into the center of the sandwich cookie and spread a little peanut butter on the sides. When the cookies cooled off, we wrapped them individually in cellophane bags and refrigerated them until ready to serve.

For my mom's birthday, we decided to make her a candy jelly gummy pudding mold round handmade soap resin tool. For this one, we used some white chocolate chips, some unsweetened chocolate, some jelly beans, and some meringue (again, some melted chocolate). We used a cookie cutter to take a square out of each of the four pieces and put it in the center of the mold. Then we wrapped the "gummy" candy jelly in cellophane bags and placed it in a Styrofoam cup. After that, we placed the mold round homemade soap resin tool into the Styrofoam cup and poured in the melted chocolate. Once that was done, we set the cellophane bags around the inside of the "gummy" candy jelly mold.

It took us about fifteen minutes to bake our chocolate gelato in our oven. When we removed it from the oven, our little girl was so excited! The cake looked so round shape silicone cake baking ware with a gelato center that she wanted to take another bite! She and her mom were both very happy with the result of their homemade chocolate gummy jelly mold.

They're a much better alternative for fondant or gum paste because they come in all different shapes and sizes and can be used on any kind of cookie or cake that you wish. I think that dome silicone chocolate mold is something that would be a really fantastic idea for a chocolate eclairs or other kind of dessert, especially if you are thinking of a chocolate fondant cake. You could also use it for soap gummy jelly or gummy bear cookies. You can also use it for any kind of gum paste cookies that you want to bake.
